Short version: we don't collect personal information. The game runs in your browser, and your saves stay in your browser.
Who we are
Rack · Power · Cable (the "Game") at rackpowercable.com is operated by Danger Close Security Co. (dangerclose.co), referred to here as "we" or "us". Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't set cookies.
What stays on your device
The Game uses your browser's local storage to keep:
- your saved games (autosave, quick save and save slots),
- your preferences: your chosen office pet, camera position, and which panels you had open.
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If you export a save file, it's written to your own device and is yours to keep or delete.
Hosting and server logs
The Game is hosted on DigitalOcean. Like any web server, their infrastructure may automatically record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems. We don't use these logs to identify or profile players. See DigitalOcean's privacy policy.
Fonts
The Game loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To fetch them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy. Everything else, including the 3D engine, is served from our own domain.
Children
The Game isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since the Game doesn't collect personal information at all, there's nothing for us to delete, but if you have concerns, contact us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information held about you. We don't hold personal information beyond the hosting logs described above, but you're welcome to contact us with any request and we'll respond promptly.
Changes
If we change how the Game handles data, for example by adding online features, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
